Apps 

Definition

‘Apps’ refers to the suite of Apps developed, published & copyrighted on Google Play Store by Mazen Kilani. The suite currently contains Birds of Jordan and 1000 Muslims apps on the Google Play Store.

Data Collection and Storage

Privacy Policies

• Apps suite does NOT collect or store ANY user personal data. 
• Apps suite collects and stores the App record fields data (e.g. Title, Date) entered by the user but only internally within the app. No user personal data, or any data used to identify the user, is collected or stored inside or outside the App.
• I have NO affiliation to ANY third party and never shared, and never will share, any information entered or permitted by users of my Apps with anyone.

Permission

• Apps rely totally on Google’s in-app authorizations and permissions to access the device media (Camera, Photo Library, Audio/Microphone, Video), location (Location Services, Maps) and notifications (User Notifications, Alerts). The user can allow, view and deny access at any time using Android Settings. The user can also delete any data record within the App or the App itself (which deletes all data) anytime.

Data Minimization

• Apps request (using Google’s in-app authorizations and permissions) access to the device media (Camera, Photo Library, Audio/Microphone, Video), location (Location Services, Maps) and notifications (User Notifications, Alerts) prior to any use of the media, location or notification and only because it is required to use the relevant functionality of the App (e.g. Location when a Map needs to be drawn, Camera when photos need to be taken). When sharing, every App uses the standard Google’s Share Sheet, managed and protected by Android.

Access

• Apps respect the user’s permission settings and never attempt to circumvent them. No access is undertaken to any device media, location, notification or other services without prior consent and only when relevant to the current activity (e.g. Microphone access request only when audio needed to be recorded not when a photo needs to be taken, as an example).

Account Sign-In

Apps do not need, neither do they ever request, an account sign-in to the App or any other 3rd party site. Every App can be used without any account information. No password is EVER requested.

Data Use and Sharing

• Apps do not use, transmit, or share someone’s personal data without first obtaining their permission. Access to information about how and where the data will be used is clarified within the App and abide by this Privacy terms and all regulatory and Google’s rules, processes and procedures.

Health and Health Research

• Apps do not request, use, transmit, or share ANY health data.

Kids

• Apps are classified 3+ as per Google’s Play Store guidelines and policies. They are NOT designed specifically for kids neither do they try at any stage to identify whether the user/player is a kid (or of any age). No App in the suite ever asks for user/player personal information or any other information that can be used to identify any user/player.

Location Services

• Apps that use Location services do so only when it is directly relevant to the features and services provided by the app. Location-based APIs are NOT used to provide emergency services or autonomous control over vehicles, aircraft, and other devices. A Notification Alert to obtain consent is ALWAYS conducted before collecting, transmitting, or using location data. When an app uses location services, the purpose is fully explained (or should be self-explanatory as in Maps) inside the app.
